Established in 2016, Charli's Pet Angels has grown from a one-woman business (initially based in Winsford) to a small team of like-minded dog walkers and pet sitters now based in Leighton and Crewe, Cheshire.

We wholeheartedly understand that your pets are cherished  members of your family, because ours are too. We know that finding someone you trust to look after them when you can't, can seem a daunting task. You can rest assured that by choosing to use our services, your pets will be safe, well looked after and thoroughly adored - their care and well-being is our utmost priority.

Our team are all fully insured, DBS checked, and trained in Emergency Canine First Aid for your peace of mind. In addition, Charli is certified in Canine Body Language. We regularly participate in training webinars and other courses (for example in areas such as Reactive Dogs for Professionals and Spotting Pain in Dogs) to keep our knowledge of the pet care industry up to date.

For us, nothing beats exploring with our client's dogs (no matter what the weather!) or watching their happy faces as they figure out an enrichment puzzle during a home visit. Getting to care for so many amazing animals (including cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, and exotic pets) really is a privilege and a dream come true.  We wouldn't want to do anything else!

Please take a look at the services offered, read a selection of reviews or get in touch for more information.

About Me - Charli

I'm the owner of Charli's Pet Angels and without a doubt, the crazy cat lady of the team (at one time having 7 rescue cats!).

I've always had a special affinity with animals and am fascinated by their behaviour. Having been around animals for as long as I can remember, and growing up with regular visits to my Nan and Grandad's farm, I would definitely call myself a true animal lover. In fact I'd go as far as to say I fall in love with every single animal I meet!

In 2016, after a successful but ultimately unfulfilling office based career, I decided it was time to listen to my inner crazy cat/dog lady, re-train and follow my dreams - hence Charli's Pet Angels was born. Hard work and dedication paid off and now I'm proud to have a team of like-minded professionals working with me. I've become a wizard at scheduling but I still spend as much time as possible with my customer's animals.

In my spare time, I can often be found at my local Pilates studio (a little known fact - I'm actually qualified to teach mat based pilates  - but these days, I much prefer being a participant!), crafting with my daughter or scoping out new walks or secure field locations for my canine friends to enjoy.

Stacie

Stacie is my right hand woman, she started working with me in November 2023 and I'd be lost without her. She has extensive experience working with animals of all shapes, sizes, and temperaments from her time as a zoo keeper!

Her specialist knowledge of exotic pets and birds of prey was an invaluable addition to the team, plus she has equestrian experience and is insured to help out with horses. She has a BsC in Wildlife Conservation and Ecology, and a Diploma in Animal Management.

Stacie shares the same passion and values as I do regarding animal care, welfare and positive training methods. She is fantastic with our more nervous canine friends and absolutely nothing phases her (I'm thinking of the time we had to rescue a sheep from the river during a group walk, or the time she wrangled a swan who'd found its way onto a busy road!).

Stacie has her own mobile nail trimming service for dogs, cats, rabbits and guineapigs - Stacie's Pet Services - Charli's Pet Angels customer's receive a discount off their first booking!

Jon

Jon joined the team in April 2025 and is dog daddy to young Florri the Cocker Spaniel and Puddles the senior miniature Poodle.

Jon decided he'd had enough of the rat race, and when he saw I was looking to expand the team, he jumped at the chance to work outdoors and put his love for dogs and passion for training (gained from working with his previous Springer Spaniels) to good use.

Jon's diverse technical background, teaching professionals within a customer service focused organisation, brings another dynamic to the team.  He's the solid, reliable presence every dog (and I) appreciates. As a "spaniel dad" he knows exactly how to handle a bit of chaos and mud with a smile and a song.

When not out with Florri, whistle-in-hand, perfecting her lead walking or recall, he can be found playing the cornet for Audley Brass Band, out on the water on his SUP or kayak, or letting off steam on his motorbike.

Miri

Miri joined the team in August 2025. I wasn't planning on expanding the team again so soon after finding Jon, but when I found out Miri was looking to change careers, I knew I needed her as my next Pet Angel!

Miri has experience with large breeds and understands the challenges of reactivity from her beautiful doberman Joey (a previous client of ours) who sadly passed away in 2025.  Losing him gave her the clarity she needed to re-evaluate what she wanted to do and I can't remember how we coped without her!

Whether she's walking a dog or providing attentive cat care (Miri has quickly become the second crazy cat lady of the team!), her goal is always to bring comfort, joy, and connection to pets and their people. She's our queen of the long line, and she doesn't just walk, she adventures! At weekends she can usually be found hiking with her young dobie Otto (often with a client's dog tagging along).

As well as having experience training guide dogs in Slovakia, Miri is also an incredibly talented painter! I have one of her soulful dog portraits hanging in my living room. Visit her website to see some of her amazing artwork -  Miri's Iconic Pets

Kate, a member of the Charli's Pet Angels team with a dog

Kate

Kate joined the team in early 2026 after seeing that I was toying with the idea of bringing someone on board to help with dog walks and to offer an overnight pet sitting service in our clients' own homes.

She has been a dog lover for as long as she can remember, having grown up always having dogs as part of the family. Her Nana  also passed on to her a love for budgies that is with her to this day.

Kate currently has six budgies (and at one point had nine!) as she can never say no to one that needs a new home (much like Charli and cats!). Known as the crazy budgie lady, she's the person that people think of if there's a budgie who needs rescuing.

After many years of unfulfilling office jobs, she gave up work to be a full time carer for her parents.  After sadly losing them both, she was determined not to end up in another boring and unrewarding role, and wanted to find something she actually enjoyed - hence this change in career presented a perfect opportunity.

Kate is excited to spend time with your beloved animals and feels honoured to be entrusted with their care (and that of your home) when you are away on holiday.
